How does my Company do a better job of Connecting with our Customers?

1. Always operate responsively and in a timely manner so your Customers know they can count on you to be there when they need you.

2. Make sure the first person a Client or New Customer speaks to is fully educated about your Company and can immediately direct the potential New Customer to the correct person in your Company. This person should always be extremely pleasant, personable & eager to help a Customer so that the Customer feels important and cared for.

3. Do not tolerate anyone within your Company that is rude to your Customers and does not get back to a Customer in a prompt manner to resolve the issue or whose work is not up to par with what the Customer is paying you.

4. Make sure your Company has an Annual Marketing Plan that helps to promote your Company each month that is consistent to your Brand.

5. Always have someone monitoring Social Media. Bad posts & reviews of your Company can be devastating to business. Make sure the owner or Manager of the Company responds promptly, courteously and without emotion to the customer posting a complaint. Ask customers that have had a good experience with your Company to post it on your Company’s Social Media. This helps to combat negative posts.

6. Study your Business Competition! What are they doing better than you are? Emulate your #1 Competitor and keep on top of your Competitors at all times to retain & continually attract New Customers.

7. Make sure that any dollars you spend on Marketing is with media that can provide Track-able, Measured Results.

8. Your Company Website should properly showcase your Company and answer any questions a potential new Customer may need to know (i.e. Frequently Asked Questions) so that they feel comfortable going to your Company. The Website should also be current and relevant and provide the appropriate information, content and contact information which immediately establishes credibility.

9. Does your Company provide “Added Value” to your Customers? Do your Marketing Materials reinforce “Added Value” so a Customer feels satisfied working with your Company?

10. Does your Company retain its existing Customers and are you adding new one’s each month? If you are not, this is a sign that you need to do a better job of promoting your Company.
